The 2021 Official Academy Awards Winners.

Compared to other years, the 93rd annual Academy Awards felt quite underwhelming. And it would seem most people agree, since the ratings hit the “lowest ever” achievement with a historic “no-speech” ending that shocked every single producer and viewer at once. In a truly surprising upset over Chadwick Boseman, Anthony Hopkins won Best Actor for his brilliant performance in “The Father” and became the oldest person to receive an acting Oscar at age 83. As a matter of fact, by the time the renowned actor was crowned with the last price of the night he had already gone to bed bringing an abrupt ending to the whole deal.  There were also no big winners during the night, leaving “Nomadland” at the front of the race by winning three of the six prizes the film was up for, including Best Picture.  In one of the nicest moments Bong Joon Ho and Sharon Choi came together to announce Chloe Zhao’s Best Director win, making her the first woman of color and second woman ever to win a directing award.  Daniel Kaluuya won Best Supporting Actor for Judas and the Black Messiah and managed to stand in the podium of best speeches of the night alongside Tyler Perry.  Well, that’s just how the Oscars came and instantly went away in 2021. Keep reading to find  out all the winners from the 2021 Academy Awards.
